We are excited to announce that Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter (FAAS) is once again bringing the famed Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan, to Aspen on July 10, 2010 for a series of events to raise money for our spay/neuter campaign.
Cesar will join us for a private luncheon at the Aspen Animal Shelter on July 10, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. He will then appear at the Aspen District Theatre for a 1.5 - 2 hour show at 6:00 p.m., during which he will give a lecture and interact with several dogs and their owners.
Cesar Millan has been called a Dr. Phil for dogs. Cesar's amazing rehabilitations of aggressive, scared, lazy, compulsive, and jealous dogs captured the national spotlight when his National Geographic Channel (NGC) series Dog Whisperer premiered in September 2004. Regular viewers soon came to realize it wasn't the dogs but the quirky owners who needed Cesar's help the most. Now in its fourth season with 35 new hour-long episodes, the Dog Whisperer’s star, Cesar Millan, has grown into a pop culture phenomenon.
Tickets to the Aspen District Theater event range from $50 to $200 and are available at the Wheeler Opera House at 970-920-5770 or through www.aspenshowtix.com.
Tickets to the Animal Shelter private luncheon are $350. A package price of $500 for the luncheon and a premium seat ticket to the Aspen District Theatre event are being offered only to our special friends of the shelter. Tickets are available by either calling 970-927-1771 or emailing faasaspen@gmail.com.
If you are interested in attending a very private patron dinner with Cesar Millan on July 10th at 8:00 p.m., contact Anne Gurchick at 970-927-1771 or faasaspen@gmail.com.
